Alliance of People with disAbilities
  The Alliance, with centers in Seattle and Bellevue, works hard to make our community more accessible, inclusive, and usable for everyone. Programs are open to people with all types of disAbilities.

Arc of King County
  This nonprofit organization serves children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families in the Greater Puget Sound area. Access detailed descriptions of their services, programs and projects as well as links to additional resources.
Department of Community and Human Services, Developmental Disabilities Division (KCDDD)
  The King County Developmental Disabilities Division assists people with developmental disabilities and their families with child development, family resource coordination, employment services, community access opportunities, and community support programs.
Disability Rights Washington
  Disability Rights Washington (DRW) is a private nonprofit organization that protects the rights of people with disabilities statewide.
Food Worker Card Online
  Before you begin a food service job in Seattle you must have a food worker card. Take the food worker class and test online at your convenience.
Great Hires Video
  Meet Seattle employers who employ this valuable and often over-looked labor pool—individuals with disabilities. Appearing in the video are respected business leaders Howard Schultz, Chair of Starbucks, Pat Hagen, COO of Children's Hospital, Bret Stewart, President of CenterTwist Inc., and King County Executive Ron Sims. King County Parent Coalition/Arc of King County
  The King County Parent Coalition is a group of concerned parents, guardians, and family members who have come together to take action for family members who have developmental disabilities. New members are always welcome. The site offers contact information, a schedule of meetings, and extensive resource links.
Self-Advocates in Leadership SAIL
  Self-Advocates in Leadership (SAIL) is a statewide coalition in Washington State of people with developmental disabilities. SAIL Coalition strives to shape public policies that affect the lives of people with developmental disabilities.
Social Security Administration
  Information about social security benefits from U.S. Social Security Administration.
Washington State Division of Developmental Disabilities
  Assistance for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families with a range of services. Extensive resource information.
Washington State Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
  The Washington State Division of Vocational Rehabilitation offers employment services to people with disabilities. Their website provides information about what types of services are available, how to sign-up, where the closest office is, and how to use their system.
